Hi, I’m Jen – the face behind Meraki 🤍

Welcome to Meraki Beauty & Aesthetics, my private beauty, skin and aesthetics studio in Penwortham.

I opened Meraki in 2018, with one simple aim – to create a welcoming, professional space where my clients can feel comfortable, listened to and completely themselves.

For me, aesthetics has never been about changing someone's face or following trends. My approach is all about natural enhancement, skin health and helping you look like the best, most refreshed version of you.

My Journey ✨

My background began in beauty, progressing through Levels 2, 3 and 4, before continuing my education into advanced skin treatments, aesthetics and Semi-Permanent Makeup.

I also hold a Level 5 PGCE teaching qualification, and ongoing education is a huge part of who I am. I genuinely love learning, understanding how treatments work and continually developing my skills so that I can offer my clients treatments that are considered, appropriate and tailored to them.

Over the years, my training has expanded across advanced aesthetics and skin, including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters, polynucleotides, PRP, HIFU, IPL, microneedling, advanced facials, laser treatments, Semi-Permanent Makeup and Level 4 Advanced Blemish Removal, alongside further specialist training.

But having a long treatment menu isn't what matters most to me.

Knowing when to treat – and when not to – does.

The Meraki Approach 🤍

No two faces and no two skins are the same.

That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to look at the bigger picture – your facial anatomy, skin, lifestyle, concerns, budget and, most importantly, how you want to feel when you look in the mirror.

Sometimes the answer might be filler or anti-wrinkle treatment. Sometimes it's a course of skin treatments. And sometimes I'll tell you that you don't need the treatment you originally came in asking for.

My goal is never to make you look “done”.

It's for people to notice that you look well, rested, fresh and glowing without necessarily knowing why.

I'm incredibly proud that the journey I started in 2018 has gone on to receive recognition within the beauty and aesthetics industry, including being named Best Aesthetic Clinic 2026/2025 at the Nations Hair & Beauty Awards.

For an independent business that has grown through passion, continued education, loyal clients and a lot of hard work, that means more to me than I can put into words.

But awards aside, the greatest compliment is still when a client trusts me with their face or skin, recommends me to someone they love, or comes back year after year.
